Special Edition on Dual-Choice 2000
We take this opportunity to provide you with upcoming dates surrounding
the year 2000 Dual-Choice Enrollment period for your planning purposes.
Watch for subsequent Bulletins confirming the dates and
providing more detailed information and instructions.
Dual-Choice Enrollment Period Tentatively Set for October
The 2000 Dual-Choice Enrollment Period is tentatively scheduled
to be held from October 4-22, 1999 for state agencies and local
employers who participate in the Department of Employe Trust Funds
(ETF) Group Health Insurance Program.
During this period, currently insured employes may switch from
one health plan to another plan or from single to family coverage
without restrictions. All coverage changes will be effective January
Dual-Choice Kick-Off Meeting Set for September 29, 1999
Each year ETF offers a Dual-Choice "Kick-Off" meeting
so that state and local employers, payroll and personnel representatives,
health plan representatives and ETF staff may share information
and discuss procedures regarding the Dual-Choice Enrollment Period.
Attendees planning to stay overnight at the hotel should make reservations
as soon as possible. Accommodations in Madison that week are very
limited due to the World Dairy Exposition and Convention.

Schedule Your Dual-Choice Health Fairs Early
Representatives from group health insurance plans provide information
and answer questions at employer health fairs. Local employers and
state agencies must arrange their own health fairs.
