Benefit Presentations Set for September-November and ETF Annual Report Now Available On Line

Benefit Presentations Review Retirement Programs, Issues

The Department of Employe Trust Funds (ETF) is sponsoring free, public presentations in September, October, and November for Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) participants considering or planning retirement. The workshops are valuable opportunities for members, spouses, and other individuals seeking general information on retirement issues and WRS benefit programs.

Topics covered during the presentations, conducted by ETF staff, include calculating formula retirement benefits, annuity options, disability/separation benefits, taxes, survivor benefits, as well as health and life insurance. Question-and-answer sessions follow each presentation.

Most of the workshops run from 7 to 9 p.m. All locations are handicapped accessible with adequate free parking.

The first meeting is set for September 27 via interactive television presentations held in Cameron, Baldwin/Woodville and Somerset, Wisconsin.

Please inform your employes of the dates and locations. The reverse side of this Bulletin features a list of presentation dates and locations. Please reproduce the page for display in your work areas. You may also want to highlight presentations held within driving distance of your office(s).

For more information, please contact Luana Schneider, ETF Member Services Bureau, (608) 266-3463.
