Dual-Choice for Plan Year 2001
Mark Your Calendars: Special Edition on Dual-Choice
for Plan Year 2001
We take this opportunity to provide the dates surrounding the upcoming
Dual-Choice Enrollment period for Group Health insurance coverage
in 2001. Watch for subsequent Bulletins containing more
detailed information and instructions.
Dual-Choice Enrollment Period Is Tentatively Scheduled
for October 2-20, 2000
State agencies and local employers who participate in the Group
Health Insurance Program, mark your calendars. The Dual-Choice Enrollment
period for 2001 coverage is tentatively scheduled to be held from
October 2 through 20, 2000. During this period, currently insured
employes may switch from one health plan to another plan or from
single to family coverage without restrictions. All coverage changes
will be effective January 1, 2001.
Attend the Dual-Choice Kick-Off Meeting: September
26, 2000
Each year ETF offers a Dual-Choice "Kick-Off" meeting
so that state and local employers, payroll and personnel representatives,
health plan representatives and ETF staff may share information
and discuss procedures regarding the Dual-Choice Enrollment period.
The 2000 Dual-Choice "Kick-Off" meeting has been scheduled

showing directions to the Radisson Inn in Madison.
Arrange Dual-Choice Health Fairs Early
Representatives from group health insurance plans will be available
to provide information and answer questions at employer health fairs.
Local employers and state agencies are responsible for arranging
their own health fairs.
