Beneft Presentations Set for September-November; ETF Annual Report Now Available on Line

The Department of Employe Trust Funds (ETF) and other sponsors will offer 14 free public presentations in September, October, and November for Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) participants considering or planning retirement. The workshops are valuable opportunities for members, spouses, and other individuals seeking general information on retirement issues and WRS benefit programs.

Topics covered during the presentations include calculating retirement benefits, annuity options, disability benefits, separation benefits, taxes, survivor benefits, health and life insurance benefits. Questions on when to retire and how to determine actual benefits will also be discussed.

No reservations are needed except for the two presentations hosted by Northern Lights Network on September 25 and 27, and the presentation hosted by ERVING Network on October 3. Each session is free and runs from 7 to 9 p.m. All locations are handicapped accessible with adequate free parking.

The first session is set for September 25 via interactive television presentations held in Osceola, Grantsburg and Barron, Wisconsin.

Please inform your employes of the dates and locations. The reverse side of this Bulletin features a list of the presentation dates and locations. Please reproduce the page for display in your work areas. You may also want to highlight presentations held within driving distance of your office(s).
