myETF Income Continuation Insurance Functionality Postponed
ETF has postponed your deadline for your delivery of the Income Continuation Insurance (ICI) Data Setup Files, originally requested prior to myETF going live in January 2018. This will allow you more time to focus on the other myETF employer requirements including training, confirmation and payroll data setup.
During this time, the myETF Project Team will also examine if there are ways to simplify the ICI data setup process. Based on this, we suggest you wait to do any further development on the ICI data setup process.
The ICI functionality will not appear in myETF on January 1, 2018. When myETF goes live, you will continue to use the current processes related to ICI. This includes reporting ICI enrollments, details and payment into myETF Benefits.
We will share information regarding the next ICI data setup steps with you when it becomes available.
Other items of interest to employers who offer ETF-administered ICI insurance include:
- Local employers will remain on an ICI premium holiday in 2018.
- 2018 ICI premium due dates will align month of coverage for all employers. See Employer Bulletin Vol. 34, No.14 for more information on this topic.
