Updates to myETF Benefits

On the evening of June 25th, 2014, ETF will deploy the following updates to myETF Benefits:

Employers and ETF staff are now able to add a dependent and/or dependent of a domestic partner for the following maintenance reasons without getting a processing error:

  • Newly Eligible for Employer Contributions
  • Creation of domestic partnership, add child
  • Add child due to adoption, add DP, add child
  • Add child due to adoption, add DP, add dependent

When using the Coverage Effective reason Paternity Acknowledgement, the system would issue an error message. This issue has been resolved.

Employers now have the ability to edit or update the location for new and existing members via the myMembers edit screen.

In addition, marital status updates made prior to adding a dependent are no longer being overridden.  

When terming a dependent, the system now correctly removes a dependent, effective the end of the month following the event date.

The following updates only apply to UWHC:
While keying Add Coverage Request through the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics (UWHC) xml file, the system previously delivered an error message when an address is not provided but a phone number is. This issue has been resolved.

When adding a dependent submitted via UWHC .xml details would be missing from certain records. This issue has also been resolved.
