WIS ACT 152 effective 4/23/92 for both teachers and non-teachers

• Rehired annuitants who exceeded their earnings limit and who qualified for WRS participation could elect to participate in WRS.
  
  
• Once the election was processed the account was re-established and the annuity cancelled.
  
  
• Disability annuitants who reach their normal retirement age are eligible to elect to participate in WRS if they meet the eligibility criteria for WRS participation when their disability annuity is terminated.
  
  
• Disability annuitants under normal retirement age when their disability annuity is terminated automatically return to active status in WRS if employeed in a qualifying position and their account is reestablished.
