ETF Mailing Tax Statements Beginning January 19

The Department of Employee Trust Funds will mail the 2011
1099-R annuitant tax statements to retired Wisconsin Retirement System members beginning January 19, 2012. The statements will be sent to annuitants’ home addresses on file with the Department. The 1099-R includes information such as the total and taxable amounts of the annuity for the past year and the amounts of federal and state tax withheld.

If you do not receive your 1099-R by mid February, or if it is lost or destroyed, please contact the Department. Call toll-free: 1-877-533-5020 or send an e-mail through the “Contact ETF” menu on our Internet site.
