New Educational Video:
Divorce and Your WRS Benefits

The Department of Employee Trust Funds has produced two new online recordings that explain how divorce or legal separation can affect Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) retirement benefits. Both presentations provide information about the correct Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) form to submit to the Department and the required WRS QDRO language. Frequently asked questions, information for alternate payees, and specific changes to member accounts and annuity payments are also addressed.

This presentation is directed to participants who have an open account – those who have not yet retired and those who have terminated employment under the WRS but still have funds on account with ETF.
