Secretary Names Division Administrator
MADISON -- Department of Employee Trust Funds Secretary Eric Stanchfield announced today the appointment of Sari King as the Department's administrator of the Retirement Services Division. She replaces Julie Reneau, now the Director of Benefits for the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System in Columbus.
King will lead the Department's largest division with responsibilities for assisting public employees with their Wisconsin Retirement System benefit decisions; paying out more than $2.8 billion a year in annuities to the system's 124,000 retirees; and managing the Department's Customer Service Call Center.
King previously served as administrator at the Department of Administration in both the Division of Enterprise Technology and the Division of State Agency Services. She has more than 21 years of management and supervisory experience in state government overseeing multi-million dollar projects in the areas of state procurement, risk management, mail services, rate setting, technical support and computer operations.
Said Stanchfield, "We are pleased and fortunate to have such an experienced, high quality individual working on behalf of the Wisconsin Retirement System and its members. Sari will be a great addition to our management team."
