What’s the cost of your drug?

Your plan requires you to pay part of the cost for most covered drugs. Sometimes you will pay a fixed amount called a “copay.” Other times, you will pay a percent of the total cost, called “coinsurance.”

The total cost of drugs can change, even month to month. You can check the price of your medications a few ways:

Navitus's ETF Website (no log in required)

Visit Navitus's ETF website at https://etf.benefits.navitus.com for information about the for the Uniform Pharmacy Benefit. After clicking on your plan type, you will be able to view the entire list of covered drugs, what tier the drug is on, and a list of in-network pharmacies.

Log on to Navi-Gate for Members

Navitus has an online portal where you can look up what your drugs cost at different pharmacies.

To get started, go to https://members.navitus.com.

If you’re new to the portal, select “Click here for new registrations,” and you will be able to set up an account. Make sure you have your Navitus ID card handy so you can put in your member ID.

If you already have an account, log in using the User ID you created and your password. At the home screen, you’ll see a link to “Cost Compare” in the left-hand toolbar.

Click on the person on your account you are searching drugs for, either the subscriber (employee) or a dependent. You can fill in the information from your prescription in the Drug Search fields, or click “Search your Medication History” to look through medications you have taken in the past three months.

Enter location information, and you will see a map of pharmacy locations, their distance from you, what you will pay and the total cost to your health plan.

You can also use Navi-Gate to find prior authorization forms and details on what is covered on the Navitus formulary. Questions? Contact Navitus Customer Care at the toll-free number on your Navitus member ID card.

Ask your pharmacist

Your pharmacist should also be able to tell you how much you’ll pay for your drugs.

When you go to fill your prescription, give your Navitus card to your pharmacist and ask what the Navitus discounted cost of the drug and what your out of pocket costs will be.
