The Department of Employee Trust Funds has started mailing state and local government employees their Wisconsin Retirement System Annual Statement of Benefits. The statement is an employee’s once-a-year summary of their WRS account information, including earnings and years of service, interest credited, employer and employee contribution, beneficiary information, and much more.

Statements will be delivered to active employees with WRS contribution balances as of December 31, 2021. All active employees will receive their statement in the mail.

Be sure to carefully review your statement – it contains information that will eventually be used in your benefit calculations. You will find answers to frequently asked questions and other resources on the My Statement of Benefits page. We suggest filing your statement for future reference, as this document is only updated and produced once a year.
