February is American Heart Month

This February marks the 56th annual American Heart Month, a time when we can turn our attention to keeping ourselves and our community free from heart disease. Cardiovascular disease kills roughly 2,300 people a day in the U.S. American Heart Month is important to improve awareness, but the American Heart Association urges people to take care of their heart health year-round.

For more information about this effort, please visit the American Heart Association’s website.
