It’s Your Choice Open Enrollment Period: September 28 - October 23, 2020

The Group Insurance Board (GIB) established the 2021 health benefits open enrollment period to be September 28 - October 23, 2020.

Attend One of the It’s Your Choice Kickoff Meetings

ETF will host several It's Your Choice 2021 employer kickoff events for local government employers for plan year 2021. All kickoff events will be held virtually. These events will follow a similar agenda as in previous years, and a recording will later be available on the ETF website for viewing anytime.

The It’s Your Choice employer kickoff meeting provides an opportunity to hear from the health plans, pharmacy benefit manager, supplemental plans, wellness vendor (StayWell), and ETF employees about the benefit program changes that are effective January 1, 2021.

Important Changes to ETF's Benefit Outreach Activities

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), ETF staff are not traveling to benefit fairs this year. Please continue to check the member education section of the ETF website for benefit education opportunities this fall.

Employers are responsible for arranging vendor representation at health fairs. If you know that other employers in your area have health fairs, you may want to coordinate timing with them so that vendors have the opportunity to attend more fairs.

Contact the health plans and Navitus Health Solutions directly to invite their representatives. It’s Your Choice decision guides are targeted to be mailed to employers the week of September 14, 2020. The ETF It’s Your Choice 2021 webpages are scheduled to go live that same week. Materials will not be available for benefit fairs scheduled before these dates.

Contact ETF Outreach by email at with any additional questions.

Updated Vendor Contact List

The recently-revised Health Plan & Vendor Contacts (ET-1728) contains each health plan and vendor partner’s contacts for membership and coverage, claims, supplies, employee assistance programs, and complaints/grievances. To request a vendor participate in your health fair, reach out to the Benefit Fairs and Supplies contact by July 15, 2020. Vendors will decide on an individual basis if they can participate in requested health fairs. The form is for employer use only; do not provide to employees. Employees must contact health plans using the contact information in the It’s Your Choice materials.
