The Department of Employee Trust Funds began directly mailing local government employees their Wisconsin Retirement System Annual Statement of Benefits today. Local government employees include those who work for school districts, cities, counties, townships, villages, and technical colleges. The statement is an employees’ once-a-year summary of their retirement account information.

If you work for a local government employer, watch for your statement to arrive at your home address soon. Distribution was delayed in April, when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted package delivery services. For increased efficiency and convenience, ETF chose to mail statements directly to you rather than the standard distribution through your employer.
