Non-Medicare Retiree with HDHP Family Coverage and a Medicare Dependent
Are you a retiree with Medicare and non-Medicare members on your health insurance? If the subscriber on your health insurance is not on Medicare, you can elect HDHP coverage for your non-Medicare members. The rates are below.
If the subscriber on your health insurance is on Medicare, your non-Medicare members must have IYC Health Plan or Access Plan design version of the health plan. View rates for the IYC Health Plan & Access Plan Design for non-Medicare members.
Members on your health insurance that have Medicare, must be enrolled in Medicare Parts A, B and D (included in your coverage with Navitus Health Solutions).
Health Plan Medicare with HDHP ("Medicare Some")
When you select Health Plan Medicare to coordinate with a family member's Medicare coverage, the non-Medicare members on your health insurance will have the same health plan, just a non-Medicare version. The rates below include the HDHP plan design for non-Medicare members.
To be eligible for the HDHP plan design for non-Medicare members, the subscriber of your plan cannot be on Medicare. If the subscriber is on Medicare or becomes eligible for Medicare mid-year, all non-Medicare members will be on/moved to the IYC Health Plan design.
