What's New for 2023

GHC-SCW is now offering MedsOnCue, a pharmacy service that uses QR code technology to offer patient-friendly, prescription-specific medication education on demand. The information won’t provide just written medication information but educational videos explaining usage, benefits, and potential side effects. The program ensures patients understand how to take their medications safely and limit avoidable reactions, but it also helps GHC-SCW take steps to go green.

GHC-SCW introduces GHC Foundations Intensive Outpatient Program, which is a treatment program for the benefit of members who are either stepping down from higher levels of care or could use more intensive services than outpatient therapy and medication management. This new program will provide individual treatment and group settings to overcome a wide spectrum of behavioral health concerns.

Video Visits

GHC-SCW members can schedule video visit appointments through GHCMyChart for routine visits and select specialty visits (PT/OT, Dermatology, and Behavioral Health). Video visit appointments through an active GHCMyChart are a simple option to see your healthcare provider, while still getting the exceptional care you expect from GHC-SCW.

GHC-SCW Mail Order Pharmacy

Prescriptions are delivered right to your door with our free mail order service. GHC-SCW pharmacies can dispense a 90-day supply on most medications. Most prescriptions arrive within 3-5 days and sometimes as fast as 2 days after your refill request.

GHC-SCW pharmacists answer questions on therapy, perform dose verification, analyze drug interactions, and complete medication reviews for less expensive alternatives. GHC-SCW mail orders can only be shipped to a location within the state of Wisconsin.

Hello Patient!
Now through GHCMyChartSM, a contactless appointment arrival process has begun. In most cases, you’ll be able to use location tracking on your phone to bypass the clinic reception desk.

GHC-SCW staff will be automatically notified of your arrival and check you in for your appointment when you enable “Hello Patient!”

Virtual Classes

Free virtual fitness, meditation, and wellness classes are now available to members. To register or learn more, please visit ghcscw.com, click on “Wellness,” then click on “Sign Up for Classes.” An email address will be required.

Provider Directory

Referrals, Authorizations, Out-of-Network

Your primary care provider will submit a referral request to GHC-SCW Care Management Department when you need to receive services outside of a GHC-SCW clinic or through a specialty care areat that requires a prior authorization. Certain procedures or tests also require a prior authorization for medical necessity review. You will receive a letter from GHC-SCW, as well as notification in your GHCMyChartSM account, letting you know if the referral/prior authorization has been approved.

Emergency and Urgent Care

If you require emergency or urgent care when outside of the network, seek care at the nearest medical facility. Contact GHC-SCW Member Services at 1-800-605-43274 if assistance is needed to determine the appropriate level of care. Follow-up care must be received from an in-network provider unless otherwise approved by GHC-SCW.

Mental, Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse

When seeking Behavioral Health services, please visit the Behavioral Health page of ghcscw.com. This page will provide helpful information about your options and contact information for securing care. A prior authorization is not required when seeking individual psychotherapy or psychiatry care.
