My Insurance Benefits

Release Date: July 12, 2025

UW View-Only Role Access Update

The UW View-Only role will no longer able to verify dependents.

This change addresses security concerns and ensures that view-only access remains aligned with the intended permissions of the role.

Updated Deduction Verbiage

All references to the member’s benefits costs will consistently display their pay frequency. Pay frequencies are reported by the employer through the ETA and are used by My Insurance Benefits to calculate the cost summary displayed for the member.

Employer Transaction Application (ETA)

Release Date: July 30, 2025

Conversion Transaction (ETA File)

There will be a new transaction code added called Conversion (C). This transaction will only be used for conversion and will be validated with conversion specific validations.

Search for Employees in the Employment Information Grid

You will be able to search for employees by SSN and/or MID in the Employment Information Grid in the ETA user interface.

This enhancement allows you to:

  • Quickly locate transactions that were entered or submitted on the same day for a specific employee
  • Avoid paging through multiple screens to find a particular record
  • Save time and streamline your search process

This update is designed to improve efficiency when reviewing same-day transaction activity.

Export Reported Employee Information

You will be able to export a CSV file from the ETA user interface for the most recently submitted transaction for employees. The exported file will include:

  • Information that has been reported in the ETA, including one row of information for each employee
  • The user ID of the person who submitted the transaction
  • When that transaction was submitted
