The GIB has approved several health and pharmacy benefit changes for plan year 2023. The changes were recommended by ETF, based on feedback from members, health plans, and other stakeholders.

We’ve recently added a new online tool to our website, the Online Disability Retirement Estimate Request. Members can access this tool 24/7, and their requests are submitted directly to ETF for processing.
The myETF Benefits System will now show errors if a marital status or marital status date is not supplied when entering transactions manually or sending XML files. These error messages were added to improve customer service and reduce contract activity errors.
ETF Secretary John Voelker and SWIB Executive Director/Chief Investment Officer Edwin Denson are keynote speakers at the Wisconsin Coalition of Annuitants Annual Conference. Retirees are invited to attend the virtual conference, which will be held in two half-day sessions on May 5 and May 19.

ETF has started mailing the WRS Annual Statement of Benefits to members. The statement is an employees’ once-a-year summary of their retirement account information.
The WRS Annual Statement of Benefits will soon be delivered to active employees with WRS contribution balances as of December 31, 2021. Note: All active employees will receive their statement in the mail.
