The deadline for local employers to file a resolution to join or make certain changes to the Wisconsin Public Employers (WPE) insurance programs is fast approaching. All resolutions are due by October 1, 2024.
After that date, ETF will suspend accepting resolutions to:
- Join the WPE Health, Life, or Income Continuation Insurance (ICI) Programs.
- Change health insurance program options.
- Change coverage levels offered for life insurance.
- Withdraw from any program.
Due to the implementation of My Insurance Benefits, the new insurance administration system, any employers interested in joining a WPE benefit program or changing their program offerings must file their resolution before the October 1 deadline. ETF expects this suspension to last through plan year 2025. ETF will notify employers when we can again accept resolutions in 2026.
