The upcoming settlement date for the September 2024 annuity payments of the Wisconsin Retirement System will be on Sept. 3, Tuesday, instead of Sept. 1, Sunday.
Under state law, monthly WRS annuity payments are payable on the first day of the month. When the day falls on a weekend or holiday, it is moved to the next regular business day. Labor day, which falls on Sept. 2, Monday, is a legal holiday.
