ETF has updated the following Income Continuation Insurance (ICI) Program materials for state participants:
- Income Continuation Insurance Administration Manual – State (ET-1119)
- Income Continuation Insurance Application – State (ET-2307)
- Evidence of Insurability Instructions—Income Continuation Insurance (ICI) (ET-2308)
Please disregard any previous versions of these materials. Updates focused on revising materials for the consolidation of the coverage levels, which will go into effect on February 1. Read more on changes to consolidate coverage levels.
The manual was updated to include information on the new provision regarding UW employees with positions in more than one Wisconsin Retirement System employment category (subch. 302). This provision states that anyone electing ICI coverage who is employed in both a university staff position and a WRS-eligible UW faculty or academic Staff position must be enrolled in the UW Faculty Plan. The employee’s combined earnings from both positions will be used to determine ICI premiums and benefits.
