Living Benefits are the proceeds of your life insurance coverage under the Wisconsin Public Employers Group Life Insurance program that are paid to you while you are still living rather than to your beneficiaries after your death.
If you filed a grievance with the plan or benefit administrator and are dissatisfied with the final decision, you can request an administrative review from ETF.
The Basic group life insurance plan became available to state employees in 1958 and to local government employees in 1960. Spouse & Dependent, Supplemental and Additional coverage is also available.
This brochure is designed to assist you in understanding the administrative appeals process as it relates to ETF. It is not intended to substitute for the legal advice or assistance of an attorney.
The Wisconsin Public Employers Group Life Insurance program provides continuation of your group life insurance after retirement if you meet the eligibility requirements.
