As part of our modernization journey, ETF is partnering with Benefitfocus to implement a best practices-based, fully integrated Insurance Administration System (IAS), known as My Insurance Benefits.
The WRS is a pension plan that is open to any public employer as defined by Wis. Stat. § 40.02(28). All employers joining the WRS must be covered by Wisconsin’s Section 218 Agreement with the SSA. The WRS is intended to provide a lifetime annuity to members who are vested and have reached minimum retirement age.
Instructions for using the WRS Earnings Reports online application. These reports are used by employers to pre-reconcile their annual report and to identify and resolve variances.
The Basic group life insurance plan became available to state employees in 1958 and to local government employees in 1960. Spouse & Dependent, Supplemental and Additional coverage is also available.
