Your WRS account information is confidential, and no one can receive information about or make changes to your account unless authorized. You can authorize another person to make changes to your account by submitting a financial power of attorney document to ETF.

Medicare Enrollment for Disability Retirees

If you retired due to a disability, you may be eligible for Medicare benefits. Medicare eligibility related to disability is available to persons who have received Social Security disability benefits for at least 24 months, who have End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), or Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS).

Authorization to Disclose Non-Medical Information

Wisconsin law allows ETF to release personal information to a third party if the member has first provided ETF with a valid written authorization. Use this form to authorize the release of non-medical information.

What a Guardian Can Do

Each time a guardian makes a request on behalf of a member, ETF will review the Letters of Guardianship of the Estate. The request will be approved or denied based on the authority granted in the letters.
