ETF’s My Insurance Benefits will be going live on July 1, 2025.
To help prepare you for this change, ETF will deliver a series of live, virtual training opportunities starting on Monday, May 5. Each live, virtual course will have multiple sessions available, including morning and afternoon options.
Please register using the links below for one of each course offerings. Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to add the session to your calendar.
You should have five live, virtual appointments on your calendar if you enrolled correctly. Employers who only offer life and/or income continuation insurance (ICI) coverage will have one appointment on their calendars.
Class space is limited, so register early for your preferred dates and times.

100: My Insurance Benefits Member Experience
On-Demand Video
This 30-minute video provides an on-demand demonstration of the member experience. This video will create a baseline understanding for employers. It is a prerequisite to the other My Insurance Benefits courses. You must watch this course before attending the live, virtual training sessions.

200: HR Admin Role in Enrollment, Dependents, and Documentation (Live, Virtual Class)
Offered May 5 – 9
This 120-minute course introduces My Insurance Benefits for Local Employers. Expect to learn about navigation, enrollment, dependent verification, and document approvals. The course includes 30 minutes of guided hands-on exercises.
201: HR Admin Role in Life Events and Career Transitions (Live, Virtual Class)
Offered May 19 – 23
This 120-minute course introduces My Insurance Benefits for Local Employers. Expect to learn about qualifying life events, career transitions, and how to support members in completing these critical tasks. The course includes 30 minutes of guided hands-on exercises.
202: HR Admin Role in Billing and Payment (Live, Virtual Class)
Offered June 9-13
This course explores changes for employers related to billing and payment for health-related coverage. Expect to learn about monthly invoicing cycles, retro-changes due to qualifying life events, and payment to ETF.
203: HR Admin Role in Life and Income Continuation Insurance (ICI) (Live, Virtual Class)
Offered June 16-20
This course is designed to highlight the new roles for ETF and employers in the administration of the life insurance, accident, and income continuation insurance programs. One feature that will be highlighted is Securian’s updated payment portal for employers.
204: Reporting for Employers (Live, Virtual Class)
Offered June 23-27
This course highlights reporting in My Insurance Benefits, which employers will find helpful in supporting their employee members and managing their benefit programs.

Offered June 9-20
Please note the “Employers Offering Life and ICI Only” section on the training page. If you only offer Life and ICI coverage, please attend the My Insurance Benefits Overview course, which is offered June 9-20 only. It will highlight the new systems that are relevant to the coverage you offer.
