Prior to this year’s health benefits open enrollment period, the Department of Employee Trust Funds has made the following updates to the health and supplemental benefits web content of the ETF website.
New Insurance Menu on the ETF Website
ETF’s top website navigation menu now offers an “Insurance” menu. This menu provides easy access, with fewer clicks, to health as well as supplemental benefits like dental, vision, and life insurance. This new menu option replaces the previous “Health” menu in the top website navigation.
Updated Web Pages – Please Update Your Links
ETF has also published updated web pages for:
These updated pages provide evergreen, up-to-date information for both state and local participants. These pages will provide relevant benefit information, including rates, and links to more information. Each benefit page will also feature a “What’s New” section to highlight each year’s new information.
Evergreen content also means that the links to the most current Dental, Vision, and Accident Plan pages will no longer change year-to-year. You can provide these links to your employees, and do not need to update them when the next open enrollment period rolls around. ETF has added redirects so that your old links will send users to these updated pages. However, we encourage you to update all old links.
Pharmacy Information
To make pharmacy information easier to access, you’ll now find cards on each program option landing page that link to top pharmacy tasks. These cards will help members find drug costs, in-network pharmacies, and covered drugs with fewer clicks.
Website Feedback
This information has been updated prior to the open enrollment period to give you time to see and adjust to these changes now. As always, your feedback is appreciated. You can submit feedback on the ETF website using the Website Feedback tab, available on the right side of every page.
