Promote Five to Thrive and the Upcoming Incentive Deadline

Five to Thrive registration opens August 14. Participants will focus on eating fruits and vegetables during this four-week challenge. The challenge is a well-being activity option that counts toward the Well Wisconsin incentive. Note that the incentive deadline is coming soon on October 11.

Champions can also sign up for a “Last Chance: Strategies to Increase Engagement” webinar on September 3 to get tips to help promote the incentive to employees before the October 11 deadline.

Promote Upcoming Well Wisconsin Fitness Classes, Webinars, and Book Club

Help promote the new Well Wisconsin summer fitness series. A variety of fitness classes on multiple days and times will be available. Participants can sign up once and join any class that works with their schedule. Class recordings will also be available. There’s no cost to register!

New webinars continue to be released every month to help employees stay engaged with their wellness journey. Use this handout to help promote webinars such as “Healthy Aging,” “Self-Care for the Caregiver,” and “Suicide Prevention.” All webinars are open to anyone. Information on July, August, and September events is included in the handout.

Encourage your employees to participate in the next Well Wisconsin book club. Participants will read and discuss “Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before” by Dr. Julie Smith. Book club will meet virtually every other week from September 5 through November 1.

Are you participating in the Well Wisconsin Champion Contest this year? Be sure to submit your activities from quarter two for your chance to win prizes for yourself and/or your employees. Not sure what this is about or want to get involved for quarter three? It’s not too late--sign up now.

Schedule Flu Vaccine Clinics

Last month, WebMD opened the scheduling tool for employers to request onsite flu vaccine clinics at their locations. If you’d like to schedule one for your employees in the Group Health Insurance Program, see the June Well Wisconsin Employers News for more information and to request an onsite clinic.
