Action Required for GHC- SCW Members
GHC of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) will split into two separate networks starting January 1, 2024: GHC-SCW Dane Choice and GHC-SCW Neighbors. Both networks will include UW and Meriter hospitals and specialists.
Retirees and most employees* who are currently enrolled in GHC-SCW will automatically be enrolled in GHC-SCW Dane Choice unless they elect to enroll in GHC-SCW Neighbors or a different health plan during open enrollment. If you have a primary care provider or primary care clinic outside of Dane County, you will need to enroll in GHC-SCW Neighbors or a different health plan.
*STAR employees who are currently enrolled in GHC-SCW will not be automatically enrolled. You must enroll in either GHC-SCW Dane Choice, GHC-SCW Neighbors, or another health plan during open enrollment. If you are a STAR employee and do not enroll in a new health plan, you will not have coverage as of January 1, 2024.
