Well Wisconsin Helps You Achieve Wellness from Within

A little reflection can make a big difference. Looking within and thinking mindfully can help you feel happier, sleep better, lower your blood pressure, and more! During the Wellness from Within challenge, live more mindfully by working on a different part of your emotional well-being each week, including:

  • Week 1: Awareness – Take a tech break and focus on your goals, values and how to live a fulfilling life. Be sure to join the Well Wisconsin Radio interview with Alexis to learn all about living a fulfilling life and then take time to journal and reflect a few days this week.  
  • Week 2: Expression – Discover new ways to express your creativity, whether through cooking, poetry, painting, or something else. This week we will have a few virtual events like Knitting with Kayla and Cooking with Jen! Try one or all of these and then continue on your own.
  • Week 3: Regulation – Try meditative breathing techniques to help you feel calm and in control of your emotions. There will be multiple opportunities this week to join sessions with your Well Wisconsin team to guide you through mindfulness sessions and breathing exercises. Participate in these or do your own mindfulness sessions.
  • Week 4: Relaxation – Make it a priority to rest, relax, and unwind in the ways that work best for you. Join a slow flow yoga class or mindfulness yoga session with your Well Wisconsin team! You can also follow along to past fitness class recordings.
  • Week 5: Connectedness – Reach out and reconnect with a friend, family member, or someone else you care about. Be sure to connect with Alexis in this week’s Well Wisconsin Radio interview all about Social Connection with Togetherall.
  • Week 6: Reflection – Look back on the challenge and reflect on your strengths and areas for improvement. Join Julie in her session on “Reflection through Journaling.”

Head to the Well Wisconsin portal to sign up for the challenge by April 23. Register for the Well Wisconsin sessions and classes referenced above on the ETF Events page. Participate in these or find your own way to invest in your emotional health for at least 21 of the 42-day challenge and earn credit toward your $150 Well Wisconsin incentive.
