Some annuitants pursue employment after retirement. Due to legislative changes, the rules regarding returning to work for a WRS employer differ, depending upon your WRS-termination date.
Each time a guardian makes a request on behalf of a member, ETF will review the Letters of Guardianship of the Estate. The request will be approved or denied based on the authority granted in the letters.
Some members can receive WRS creditable service for part or all of their active U.S. Military service. This additional service may increase your WRS retirement, disability and certain death benefits.
