Form Updates and Tips

The Department of Employee Trust Funds regularly updates forms; you can find the most recent versions on the ETF forms and publications page. Please regularly check that you are providing the most current revisions of a form to employees . Due to the frequency of form and publication updates, ETF does not regularly send out employer emails detailing all updates.

ETF Updates Meetings

Formerly known as the Payroll Council, ETF Updates give state and local employers a chance to hear the latest ETF news for employers. These quarterly meetings are held by ETF staff, who send out invites ahead of each meeting. If you are not receiving these invites, please contact your Employer Services case manager. 

Changes to ICI Coverage Levels, Premium Structure in 2024

Starting in 2024, the Income Continuation Insurance (ICI) Program will consolidate its standard and supplemental coverage levels into a single level of coverage of earnings up to $120,000.  

This change means:

  • There will be only one level of coverage, with no option for supplemental coverage.
  • ETF will no longer use the terms “standard” and “supplemental” to describe coverage.
  • Employer contributions will continue all the way to up the $120,000 limit.
