ETF is conducting online Wisconsin Retirement System employer training sessions, beneficial for employers new to WRS administration, as well as more experienced employers who have been working with the WRS for several years and would like a refresher on WRS topics.

Please note a few reminders for employers: check that you are using the most current form revision, watch for ETF Update meeting invites, and read about changes coming to the ICI Program in 2024.

This training is for all state and local employers who use myETF Benefits to enroll new employees in benefits, view and update health insurance information, view and update demographic information, or complete terminations. See what form to complete for access, where to log in, and how to navigate myETF Benefits. 

Many state employees want to continue their health insurance into retirement. However, they might have several questions prior to retiring like what determines their eligibility? What impact does gaining Medicare eligibility have on health insurance?

For the remainder of 2022,  employers should select the new 2023 service network name when applicable.

Effective immediately, employers must send ETF this form to verify that they have personally viewed their employees’ original required documents to verify benefit coverage eligibility.

For the 2022 plan year, the It’s Your Choice decision guide will continue to be a printed guide, as a companion piece to the collection of It’s Your Choice web pages found on the ETF website. Please let ETF know by July 16, 2021 how many paper guides you would like.
