In preparation for the new insurance administration system, My Insurance Benefits, ETF is updating a documentation policy for new hires and employees.

The Employer Readiness Forum originally scheduled for April 23, 2025 for local and non-STAR employers has been postponed.

Starting on April 1, you will notice some important updates in the way you receive direct emails from ETF's Employer Insurance Unit.

Today, the Group Insurance Board set premium rates for the 2026 plan year. In addition, the Board approved the health plan service area qualifications and other benefits of the State of Wisconsin Group Health Insurance Program.

Information for employers about the program, how to participate, and administer the program.

ICI is a voluntary “income replacement” benefit payable to an enrolled employee if they become disabled. This program is only
offered to employers already participating in the WRS.

To help prepare you for this change, ETF will deliver a series of live, virtual training opportunities starting on Monday, May 5. Each live, virtual course will have multiple sessions available, including morning and afternoon options.

ETF has published new recorded webinars for local employers focused on the Group Health Insurance Program and supplemental benefits to help answer employer questions.

(Updated June 18, 2024) The Group Insurance Board has set premium rates for 2025, while taking action to stabilize the reserve of the State of Wisconsin Group Health Insurance Program. The Board also approved health plan service areas for the 2025 plan year at its meeting yesterday.
