ETF is conducting online Wisconsin Retirement System employer training sessions for employers throughout the state. This training is beneficial for employers new to WRS administration, as well as more experienced employers who have been working with the WRS for several years and would like a refresher on WRS topics.

When filing claims with ETF’s ICI administrator, The Hartford, employees should advise The Hartford that their employer is the State of Wisconsin—not their actual employer (such as City of ABC or State Agency XYZ).
Please note a few reminders for employers: check that you are using the most current form revision, watch for ETF Update meeting invites, and read about changes coming to the ICI Program in 2024.
This training is for all state and local employers who use myETF Benefits to enroll new employees in benefits, view and update health insurance information, view and update demographic information, or complete terminations. See what form to complete for access, where to log in, and how to navigate myETF Benefits.
Please encourage members with ICI Program coverage who have become disabled to file an ICI claim as soon as possible after their last day worked. The effective date of an ICI benefit can be no earlier than 90 days before the claim is filed. If the member waits to file a claim, they may miss out on benefits.
