Group Life Insurance

The program offers term life insurance coverage up to 5 times an employee's yearly pay for State of Wisconsin employees and local government employees whose employer offers the plan. Employees may also insure their spouses and dependent children.

State Group Life Insurance Premium Rates Effective April 1, 2023

The Group Insurance Board moved forward with the 5% increase to the employee premium rates effective April 1, 2023. For rates effective April 1, 2023 - March 31, 2024, please see Group Life Insurance Plan Monthly Rates (ET-2164).
