The Board moved forward with the 5% increase to the employee premium rates effective April 1, 2024. For rates effective April 1, 2023 - March 31, 2024, please see Group Life Insurance Plan Monthly Rates (ET-2164).
The Group Insurance Board has approved the Wisconsin Public Employer Group Life Insurance premium rates for local employees. Claims experience has been stable, resulting in no change to local employee premium rates for 2023.
To help prepare you for this change, ETF will deliver a series of live, virtual training opportunities starting on Monday, May 5. Each live, virtual course will have multiple sessions available, including morning and afternoon options.
While there are many new features and capabilities that this system will offer when it goes live, we have identified one feature that will not be available for local employers at that time. Specifically, the premium rate display, with a contribution breakout showing the member and employer shares, will not be visible to your employees.
