ETF has amazing people and a collaborative spirit that we use to better our work and community. To support our amazing staff, we foster a community of engagement, growth and recognition.
Recognition
We recognize our staff for their hard work. Our internal newsletter features a "Way to Go" column that gives credit to staff accomplishments, throughout the year we have employee recognition events and each year we recognize 1-2 staff members that have gone above and beyond with our ETF Excellence award.
Giving Back
ETF takes pride in giving back to the community and offers staff opportunities to get involved with local nonprofits, including:
Meals on Wheels
Every week ETF staff deliver smiles and meals to those in need; more than 600 meals per year!
Partners in Giving
Partners in Giving is a fundraising campaign for State agency employees that benefits local, state and international non-profit organizations. ETF raises funds for Partners in Giving through a variety of creative events including potlucks, a flea market, and culture-sharing events. ETF staff routinely raises thousands of dollars for the campaign, increasing the amount each year.
Red Cross Blood Drives
ETF staff regularly participate in blood drives, donating an average of about 200 pints of blood per year.
Lincoln Elementary School
ETF's relationship with Lincoln Elementary School began when our location was a 5-minute walk to the school. Even after our move to Hill Farms, ETF staff remain committed to supporting the school and its students.
Our relationship has also grown to include a popular weekly Pen Pal program, school supply drives, winter clothing drives, and an annual scholarship fund for high school graduates who were once Lincoln 5th graders. From 2016-2018, ETF staff contributed $8,000 in scholarships that helped 13 college-bound students.
Staff Engagement Opportunities
We host a wide variety of events to promote engagement through our Wellness Workgroup and IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity Equity and Advancement) committees. These are great ways to get to know people from other divisions and offices, and have some fun both inside and outside of the workplace. Examples of past events include: softball, cricket, bowling, ugly sweater day, potlucks, walks and runs, book clubs, and golf outings.
